NZCA / LINES Album Due

LOAF to take charge of LP

NZCA / LINES are set to release their self-titled debut album through LOAF on February 27th.

It’s important to set your heights high. The Nasca Lines are ancient line patterns in Peru, designed to be seen by the gods. So in naming their project after these epic murals, NZCA / LINES are showing dangerous amounts of ambition.

The early signs, though, are that the group might just pull it off. NZCA / LINES have completed work on their debut album, with LOAF Recordings set to issue the self-titled LP on February 27th.

Mixing the sheen of prime R&B with something searingly intelligent, the mixture of pop charm and cerebral element recalls Scritti Politti’s ‘Cupid & Psyche’ album.

Lead single ‘Okinawa Channels’ should already be familiar to you. All distorted R&B, gleaming synths and soft-focus vocals the track will gain a stand alone release via LOAF Recordings on January 16th.

However by now all sights are on the full length. Set to drop on February 27th, stream a recent NZCA / LINES mixtape below before checking out the full tracklisting after the jump.
