Stateside duo NxWorries return with new single ‘Daydreaming’.
The project unites Anderson .Paak with super-producer Knxwledge, with their debut album developing a cult audience of its own. Set to return later this year, NxWorries will release their second album through Stones Throw at the end of summer, with the pair touching down in London this month to headline Cross The Tracks.
Ahead of this, the pair have shared synth-fuelled ballad ‘Daydreaming’. The sonic palette puts you in mind of Miami in the mid 80s, all scorching heat, endless roads, and a face-melting guitar solo.
Anderson .Paak takes on the role of lovelorn troubadour, a modern day Romeo proclaiming his love. Curiously, the video is hewn from a different cultural reference point – it was built using footage from the Grand Theft Auto V game.
