Afro-jazz collective Nubiyan Twist have announced dates for a UK tour, commencing April next year at the Marine Theatre in Lyme Regis and concluding at the Outernet in London in June.
Nubiyan Twist comprises virtuosic instrumentalists and producers, the London-based collective’s sound a confluence of jazz, hip-hop, Afrobeat, soul and electronic flourishes. Nubiyan Twist are currently finishing recording on their fourth album scheduled for release in Spring 2024 – their first release since acclaimed pandemic-era album ‘Freedom Fables’.
The first new music to appear from this upcoming album is ‘So Mi Stay’, the outcome of a creative collaboration between bandleader and producer Tom Excell and newly-introduced vocalist Aziza Jaye.
