“Parallel Worlds, Parallel Lives”, the acclaimed documentary on the relationship between Eels founder Mark “E” Everett and his father, has been nominated for a BAFTA.
The documentary, produced by the BBC, focussed on the work and tragic death of quantum physicist Hugh Everett III. His son, Mark Everett, emerged from his shadow to become an acclaimed musician in his own right. “Parallel Worlds, Parallel Lives” received rave reviews when it was first broadcast, and is in the running for “Best Documentary” at the BAFTA awards on April 20th.
Eels are also second to commence the second leg of their UK tour, and will play the following dates:
