Norway's iris has shared her striking dark-pop jewel 'romance is dead'.
The rising pop voice has a fastidious approach, pushing and pushing and pushing until each word, each note is in the right place.
Debut EP 'a sensitive being' lands on April 10th, with new single 'romance is dead' showcasing her stellar sound.
Pouring her heart into the track, 'romance is dead' was constructed during one breathless four-hour writing session, before iris showed her notebook to the London-based producer and artist Couros Sheibani.
She comments:
"Those nights sitting in the corner, I wrote every thought down, I was fascinated with the people. All of them were looking for something. I felt so much compassion for them, because in my head they really just wanted to be loved! Some of them seemed pretty broken."
"Maybe I just put my emotions on them, but they felt so real, they had all these needs and dreams, and they were so whole in themselves. I think I wanted to be superwoman and make everyone happy. Like Cupid…”
