R&B queen Normani has kept fans waiting for a hot minute, spending time finessing her new album. The much-speculated upon ‘DOPAMINE’ has gained a release date – the LP will hit streaming services on June 14th.
Alongside this titbit of news, Normani has shared a powerhouse single. Aligning with Gunna, the two draw different energies out of one another, with new single ‘1:59’ serving as an unexpected anthem.
Normani uses her verses to re-asset her worth, singing: “When I get you alone, boy, what you gon’ do with this? Don’t talk too much, just do this sh*t. Boy, what you gon’ do with this?”
Gunna twists it up, the R&B flex in his voice spitting: “I can tell your type ’cause you gon’ like the things I do.”
It’s fun, contagious, and packed with character – looks like Normani’s comeback is well and truly on.
