History will be made on Friday September 26th, with the UK’s first ever online launch of a music festival.
The launch of NOISEfestival.com will be based entirely in Second Life, the innovative social networking site. The event will showcase work sent in by over 9,000 contributers, and is curated by such figures as Badly Drawn Boy, Attik, Zaha Hadid and many more. Alongside music, the festival will contain events in photography, film and animation amongst others.
The event will be broadcast onto the Big Screen in Liverpool, and shown on screens around the country. Launched in 2006, NOISEfestival.com is the UK’s first independent online arts showcase, spotlighting the best under-25s in any artistic discipline that can be presented digitally.
The Festival and gallery will then exist at www.noisefestival.com after Friday.
