Oasis guitarist and gentleman of the North Noel Gallagher is set to host a new radio show with Russell Brand.
Two men renowned for their ability to speak their mind, Gallagher and Brand are very good friends and have often spoke of their desire to work together. The two also share a penchant for creating chaos, however.
Russell Brand resigned from his Radio 2 show after notoriously phoning up actor Andrew Sachs to tell him he had made love to his grand-daughter, an episode that turned Brand into a tabloid pariah.
Gallagher meanwhile is well known for his rants, primarily against other musicians. In one famous spat with Blur, he wished two members of the band would die of AIDs – which isn’t very nice.
The pair will unite on a new one off football show. Brand revealed the news over his Twitter account, writing: “It’s true, myself and Britain’s favourite swearer are doing a radio special on football. Let’s hope Noel doesn’t get me in trouble/twouble.”
“Me and Gallagher will turn Talksport into the fulcrum of the revolution. If we can just get Wossy to come on as a guest a new dawn will rise.”
The two share a love of football with Noel Gallagher a fervent Manchester City fan.
It is not know which station the show will be broadcast on.
