Noel Gallagher Mocks Madonna

Oasis man on adoption bid

Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher has posted a new blog which appears to poke fun at Madonna’s recent adoption bid.

Oasis are currently on tour in the Far East, playing a number of dates after being barred from entering China. The Manchester band were due to play their first ever shows in the Communist country but were not allowed to enter the country.

Amid an angry exchange of statements the Oasis camp claimed Noel Gallagher’s involvement with the Free Tibet cause was the reason for the group’s tour dates being cancelled.

Never ones to bow in the face of adversity, the band have continued on their tour but it seems that Noel Gallagher has become adrift from pop culture. The guitarist admitted he hadn’t read a newspaper “for weeks” before alluding to Madonna’s recent adoption bid.

The Queen of Pop had been attempting to adopt a young African child named Mercy James. However this bid was thrown out by officials due to residency laws in Malwai. Strangely, this didn’t stop her adopting a child two years ago.

Heartbroken, Madonna flew back to the United States but can expect no sympathy from Noel Gallagher. “Is it true that Madonna is trying to buy Shaun-Wright Phillips from Man City?” he wrote. “Say it ain’t so!”

The songwriter went on to state that he is suspicious of any British people he sees abroad. “What are they doing here? Buying cheap handbags for fat birds back home? Dunno,” he wrote.

Oasis have caused a stir recently, when a fan recorded Noel Gallagher singing a new song at a soundcheck in Taiwan. Swiftly uploaded to the internet, there has been no word from the Oasis camp verifying the fan’s claims.

Noel Gallagher has long claimed he has a stockpile of songs destined for a solo album, and the group’s fans are already arguing over whether the track will be recorded by Oasis or on Gallagher’s much vaunted solo album.
