Oasis guitarist and all round man of the people Noel Gallagher surprised staff in a Glasgow shoe shop by giving away 30 tickets to his group’s performance in the city.
The songwriter bought two pairs of trainers in designer store Cruise in Glasgow. The trainer aficionado paid £225 for a pair of Gucci shoes, and then a further £150 for some YMC trainers.
The guitarist was so pleased that he gave staff some 30 tickets to see Oasis’ show in Glasgow last night (November 5th). A source told Scottish red top Daily Record that “Noel was so thrilled at getting his bargain, he asked staff how many would like to come to last night’s show”.
Hopefully there weren’t any fireworks at the band’s show – Noel and brother Liam were reported to be staying in different hotels after yet another row between the pair. Older brother Noel Gallagher’s temper was no doubt hindered by his recovery from an attack in Toronto, which left doctors advising he call off the British tour.
