British indie folk stars Noah And The Whale have issued a new free download in order to support BBC 6Music.
Founded in 2002, BBC 6Music has become an institution. The station’s commitment to new and left field talent meant that while it did not have a huge fan base, those who listened loved what they heard.
Showcasing music rarely heard on commercial radio, the future of BBC 6Music was recently placed under threat. With the station’s future being debated Noah And The Whale have decided to make their voices heard.

The tribute is the latest show of support for BBC 6Music. An online campaign to save the station recently resulted in a demonstration outside the BBC’s headquarters in London, with thousands of fans rallying to the call.
Meanwhile, the next Young And Lost club takes place on April 9th upstairs at The Lexington. Guest DJs on the night include Manchester newcomers Egyptian Hip Hop, returning singer Joe Lean and more.
