No Rome returns with new song ‘Deep Diving’.
The Dirty Hit aligned artist has laid out plans for his mixtape, with ‘Blueboy Must Die’ set to land on September 8th. Crafted alongside producer Kurisu, No Rome has stretched himself to the limit, encouraging renewed eclectic in his art.
New song ‘Deep Diving’ represents the seed of the mixtape as a whole, one of the first songs developed for the project. Abandoning his expectations, the track revels in freedom, inhabiting its own realm in the process.
Citing everything from UKG to Mort Garson’s cult classic Plantasia as influences, No Rome throws off the shackles to develop his own voice. He comments…
‘Deep Diving’ was one of the first songs I worked on ‘Blueboy Must Die’ with Kurisu. For a song that meant going into a deep dive where you’re figuring everything out along the way, I wanted to do this whole adventurous/no-rules style production where every part of the song had a different element to it and have it all tie together.
