Rising London talent Nilüfer Yanya has shared new cut 'Baby Luv'.
The 22 year old songwriter is difficult to place, with her debut EP 'Small Crimes' presenting her work as somewhere between indie and soul, matching her confessional tendencies to some sharply defined melodies.
New EP 'Plant Feed' followed this July, with Nilüfer now sharing stand alone single 'Baby Luv'.
Rooted in that choppy guitar line, the Londoner's voice twisted and revolves around the words, with Nilüfer perpetually asking questions, opening up discussion.
She explains: "I'm still working out what this song means exactly. There's a lot of questioning going on, I keep asking myself the same question – but it has a different meaning each time I ask it and which I still don't have an answer for.”
Tune in now.
