Nicolas Jaar has stepped in to remix 'Random Access Memories' in its entirety.
Perhaps the year's biggest album thus far (although Jay-Z may see to that) Daft Punk's 'Random Access Memories' has generated more headlines than most thought feasibly possible.
Well, it's done it again. Nicolas Jaar and Dave Harrington collaborate under the name Darkside, plying a fine line in guitar led electronic noir. Switching the moniker for 'Daftside' – you can see where this is going – the pair have re-worked 'Random Access Memories'.
Uploaded to SoundCloud this morning (June 21st) the Clash team are currently absorbing its contents.
Amongst the highlights thus far is a neat, hip hop leaning remix of number one earworm 'Get Lucky' while 'Lose Yourself To Dance' becomes a funky, slow burning beast.
