Nico Purman is set to launch the Art Of Memory imprint with a new four track EP.
Berlin-based but with South American roots, Nico Purman has patiently fought his way to the forefront. A diligent, exacting producer, virtually everything the beatsmith has released thus far has displayed an impeccable sense of taste.
Deciding to launch his own imprint, Art Of Memory will get underway with an EP from its founder. 'Labyrinth' is a four track document from Nico Purman, finding the producer exploring disco and new wave climes – yet with a modern twist.
Inspired by pioneers such as Giorgio Moroder, there's a proto-techno sensibility at play here as well. Out now, Clash are able to stream the title cut – a fantastic piece of retro-Futurist drama, you can tune in below.
