Nick Hakim has shared new single 'CRUMPY'.
The songwriter's left-field soul vision is set to be expanded on his new album, with 'WILL THIS MAKE ME GOOD' due to land on May 15th.
New single 'CRUMPY' exemplifies his open-minded creative viewpoint, matching opaque R&B elements to flecks of guitar courtesy of Mac DeMarco.
The pair work perfectly together, gently nudging Nick Hakim's music into another realm.
Of the album as a whole, Nick comments:
“This is my world; a lot of friends touched this record, and that makes me feel lucky and proud,” he said. “These songs are glimpses into my community. I’m exploring, but I’m not alone. It’s a journey in progress; it’s an experiment, every day.”
