Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds are set to release new live album 'Live from KCRW' on December 2nd.
The art of the live album seems to be in decline. The growth of the camera phone means that most concerts are widely documented, while many bands opt to officially stream their shows through official channels.
But Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds are sticklers for tradition. Hell, it helps that the group remain one of the most vital, visceral live experiences around. Recorded at Apogee Studio in Los Angeles earlier this year, new live album 'Live from KCRW' is set to be released on December 2nd.
The session was recorded by Bob Clearmountain, and took place on April 18th – midway between the band's twin Coachella appearances.
Available on CD, download and double vinyl, it features a stripped down line up and plenty of material from the band's recent album 'Push The Sky Away'.
