Nick Cave Donates His Socks To Help Save Independent Music Venue

They're worth "a f*cking fortune..."

Nick Cave has donated a pair of socks to the campaign to save Harrow venue Trinity.

The venue is currently shut due to the COVID lockdown, and is battling to remain viable as a business.

An online auction has been organised on behalf of manager Chris Perdue, who is a colossal fan of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.

Knowing this, a friend reached out to Nick Cave, who kindly donated a pair of Gucci socks to the auction.

He also sent some hand drawn art, with the inscription: "This pair of sparkly socks officially belong to Nick Cave and are worth a fucking fortune".

The auction for this super rare piece of memorabilia will start on Thursday June the 4th at 8pm and will last a week.

Details can be found at Trinity Auction House on Facebook or on eBay.

All proceeds will go towards Trinity's #SaveOurVenues crowdfunder.
