Nick Broomfield's Marianne & Leonard: Words Of Love will gain a DVD release later this year.

The film traced the romance between Leonard Cohen and Marianne Ihlen, which flourished in an artistic commune on the Greek island of Hydra.

The two met when Marianne Ihlen – an established and acclaimed artist in her own right – was married, but their romance blossomed in this idyllic setting.

Nick Bloomfield's documentary traces this story, but also looks at those who did not survive the beauty of that Greek island.
