UK riser Nia Smith has shared new single ‘Personal’.

The songwriter made her debut with the excellent ‘Give Up The Fear’, a soulful piece of pop-edged R&B steered by revered British producer Jimmy Napes and Ed Thomas.

Hand-picked to support SZA at the mammoth BST Hyde Park concert series in London, Nia Smith bounces back with a brand new single.

Out now, ‘Personal’ continues her rise. Continuing the creative partnership that fuelled her debut, the single has a crisp emotional edge, amplified by that dulcet vocal.

Discussing the single, she says…

“Made this song with people I love. We had a lot of fun writing Personal for sure. It’s about letting go of that bad energy, we don’t need that in 2024. period. Nothing personal but you’ve got to do what’s best for you.”

‘Personal’ comes backed with a visual directed by British Director Sarah Tucker – tune in now.
