New-gen junglist Nia Archives has shared new single ‘Unfinished Business’, lifted from debut album ‘Silence Is Loud’ out April 12th via Hijinxx/Island Records.
‘Unfinished Business’ follows previous singles, the title track and ‘Crowded Roomz’, her collaboration with British artist Corbin Shaw on an exclusive merch piece (“CHEESE CHIPS N BLOODY GRAVY”), and her record-breaking Boiler Room hosted by Charity Shop Sue celebrating IWD – which welcome catered to women, trans and non-binary ravers.
Co-produced with Ethan P. Flynn, Nia Archives continues her cerebral take on jungle riddims, rendering a schizoid picture of ephemeral relationships through subtle Big Beat inflections and tempo shifts. The song expands on an album that is “more song-focussed, putting interesting sounds on jungle…”
