NF Claims His Independence On ‘MOTTO’

“You heard the saying if ain’t broke, don’t fix it that’s my motto.”

Michigan rapper NF returns with new single ‘MOTTO’.

The rapper pushes back against expectations on his new album ‘HOPE’, which is slated to land on April 7th. His first since 2019’s platinum-selling ‘The Search’, it follows the impact of his 2021 project ‘CLOUDS (THE MIXTAPE)’.

New single ‘MOTTO’ finds NF re-affirming his core precepts, rejecting label pressure to seek out what fulfils him as an artist. Riding the neck-snapping production, he raps: “I could write a record full of radio songs, do a bunch of features that my label would love… Sounds like a nightmare if you ask me, went from my bedroom to the big leagues.”

Refusing to get carried away with his newfound star status, ‘MOTTO’ finds NF tapping back into the lanes that made him. “You might see me in the same clothes I had on last week, am I ashamed? No,” he song unfurls. “You heard the saying if ain’t broke, don’t fix it that’s my motto.”
