US singer Santogold is aiming to slice open the British singles chart with her new release “Lights Out” due to hit record shops on August 4th.
With critical praise seemingly heaped on her every word, Santogold seems set to crack open the UK when her new single “Lights Out” is released on August 4th. Taken from her self-titled debut album, the single is a typically sassy mixture of pop, new wave, electro and a host of other styles.
Live, Santogold is a technicolour update on the icy charm of Grace Jones. The singer comes armed with DJs and dancers, for one of the most colourful live shows around. After a sold out UK tour in May, word of mouth hype is reached hysterical proportions.
