The Rolling Stones aren’t set to gather any moss, after announcing a special Collector’s Edition DVD of their Scorsese-directed concert film “Shine A Light”.
The band joined up with the legendary director to create perhaps the definitive document of their current incarnation. Rolling Stone frontman Mick Jagger recently turned 65, meaning that he is able to collect his pension. The multi-millionaire will be able to celebrate, then, with an extensive reworking of recent concert film “Shine A Light”.
Acclaimed by critics, the Martin Scorsese directed feature was a huge success with fans, and the new edition will include four additional songs and backstage documentary with both rehearsal and archive footage.
Always up to date with new technology, the second disc of “Shine A Light” will come complete with a digital copy of the film – enabling fans to transfer it onto their iPod or laptop.
The collector’s edition of “Shine A Light” will be released on DVD on November 10th.
