New PJ Harvey Documentary Announced

A Dog Called Money follows the making of her recent album...

A new documentary focussing on the work of PJ Harvey is incoming.

Stereogum reports that Irish film maker and frequent PJ Harvey collaborator Seamus Murphy will helm the project, which is due to be released next year.

A Dog Called Money has its roots in the songwriter's 2016 album 'The Hope Six Demolition Project', and matches footage of the London-bound studio sessions to her visits to Kosovo, Afghanistan, and Washington D.C.

No footage has yet emerged, with A Dog Called Money set to premiere at Berlinale 2019, the Berlin International Film Festival, in February.

PJ Harvey, meanwhile, is currently working on the score for the stage adaptation of the 1950 film All About Eve.
