‘New’ Michael Jackson Album Planned

December release planned

A ‘new’ album from Michael Jackson is set to be released just before Christmas.

The spectre of Michael Jackson looms large over pop music. The court case over his death lingers on, while Halloween sees the world dress up and attempt to do the dance routine from ‘Thriller’.

In recent weeks Michael Jackson was named the highest earning dead celebrity, while the classic ‘Thriller’ video could yet be transformed into a full length feature film.

Now an album of ‘new’ recordings from Michael Jackson will be released on December 14th. Recorded before the singer’s death, the album will be titled simply ‘Michael’ and drops before Christmas.

Little is known about the actual content of the album, although one track will premiere on Monday (November 8th). Streaming live on the official Michael Jackson website, ‘Michael’ will give an indication of the album.

It has not yet been confirmed who produced the sessions, or when indeed the recordings were made. Given that his solo career lasted for three decades, Michael Jackson presumably left the vaults bulging with unreleased material.

Meanwhile, the first single to be taken from the forthcoming album ‘Michael’ will be announced later this month.

The album represents the first release from the Michael Jackson vaults. After his death, the Jackson family confirmed that several albums of ‘new’ material were set to be released from the singer’s studio sessions.

Previously, one ‘new’ track was released shortly after the documentary ‘This Is It’ hit cinemas across the globe.

Michael Jackson’s new album ‘Michael’ is set to be released on November 8th.
