A short snippet of new material from Jamie xx has emerged courtesy of RizLab.
Set up earlier this year, RizLab aims to bring artists from different disciplines together. For their first instalment, Jamie xx was teamed with the visual artist Quayola for an extremely special one off show.
Fresh from the success of ‘We’re New Here’ Jamie xx had a bag full of new material. Playing a typically diverse set in London, the DJ moved from some unheard cuts to straight up dancefloor material.
Accompanying him, Quayola crafted some immersive visuals which were displayed on the walls of the venue. A trippy, at times psychedelic experience the one off show pushed both artists out of their comfort zone.
