Twee two-some Slow Club are set to release a new EP, with the five track collection “Let’s Fall Back In Love” hitting the shops this week.
Hailing from Sheffield, Slow Club consist of only two members – Charles and Rebecca. One slaps and thumps a variety of percussion (including a chair!) while the other sings charming and beguiling melodies. Quite unlike the macho British guitar scene, Slow Club are not so much a breath of fresh air as an explosion of oxygen in a smog filled city.
“Let’s Fall Back In Love EP” contains five tracks and is an uplifting document coming just at the time when summer turns to brown leaves and soaking pavements.
