The latest installment of Bob Dylan’s Bootleg Series is set to hit the shelves soon, with the announcement that “Tell Tale Signs” will hit the shops on October 8th.
The new album will feature twenty seven previously unreleased tracks, including never before heard rarities and alternate versions of songs from Dylan’s back catalogue. The bard of Hibbing is possibly at the most acclaimed point of his career since the mid 70s, with his previous studio album “Modern Times” a US Billboard number one.
The two disc album will feature twenty seven tracks, including alternate versions of songs from “Oh Mercy” – his first collaboration with long time producer Daniel Lanois. The album will be accompanied by a booklet of rare photos and linear notes, while other limited edition versions will be available.
“Tell Tale Signs” is part of the bootleg series, an infrequent delving into one of modern music’s greatest back catalogues. Now up to volume eight, it demonstrates the Dylan discards better ideas than some songwriters use in a lifetime.
To coincide with the release of the album, Bob Dylan will be releasing “Dreamin’ Of You” on his official website.
“Tell Tale Signs” by Bob Dylan will be released on October 8th.
