Neue Grafik Confirms ‘Dalston Tapes Vol. 1’

Taking him back to his roots in production...

Neue Grafik will release new project ‘Dalston Tapes Vol. 1’ on November 1st.

The producer returns to long-time home Rhythm Section for the release, a project that takes him back to his production roots. An ode to beat-making, it points to early heroes such as Pete Rock while also saluting formative experiences in East London.

He comments…

“This mixtape is a love letter to the heart of Dalston. It’s for everyone who lives for the chaos and beauty of the city—the skaters at Gillett Square, the grandmothers carefully picking vegetables at the market, the partygoers in their extravagant fits, and the musicians grinding away at TRC. Dalston has been a pivotal place in my life, and this release is for all of you who make it what it is.”

Out on November 1st, the project is led by new track ‘What Wood’ – dank, dubby programming, the producer’s world-building finesse is topped off by a guest spot from Brother Portrait.
