Netflix have announced plans for a new Motown-themed animated show.
The show follows the success of the Beatles-inspired Beat Bugs, which aired to widespread acclaim on Netflix earlier this year.
The new series will use a series of Motown hits as prompts for the storyline, and will be helmed by writer/director Josh Wakely.
The story loosely follows an 8 year old child name Ben (much like the Michael Jackson song, then) who lives in a city called Motown.
Tantalisingly, Smokey Robinson will act as executive producer, with a host of modern artists putting a new spin on 52 Motown classics.
