Neon Waltz Share ‘When All Is Said And Done’

Shades of the National on this indie rock gem...

Scottish band Neon Waltz return with new single ‘When All Is Said And Done’.

The group – based by John O’ Groats – are one of the country’s hardest-working, most-travelled outfits, recently making the huge around-trip for a London headline date. Previewing fresh material, new album ‘Honey Now’ lands on September 1st via Fierce Panda.

New single ‘When All Is Said And Done’ is out now, a surging piece of indie rock with some neat melodic inflections. The pounding piano chords amplify the bedrock, while the pulsating guitar solo lifts the energy still further.

Reminiscent of the National in places, it also stays true to their psych-pop roots. Lead singer Jordan Shearer says about the track…

“It started out as an acoustic guitar demo during lockdown. It is based on relationships and people that fell apart in the past few years, watching it happen in real time but being powerless to change the course of a downward spiral. You observe that sometimes people can’t be mended, no matter how much help they’ve received. Although, even at its worst you have to keep hope…”
