Manchester rapper Nemzzz has today dropped the deluxe edition of his debut mixtape, ‘DO NOT DISTURB’.
Following the official release of the mixtape on Friday, the 19-year-old rapper solidifies his promise as a breakthrough prospect with the release of four additional tracks, including a transatlantic collaboration with Atlanta maverick Lil Yachty on ‘IT’S US’, and homegrown link ups with Headie One on ‘I KNOW YOU CARE’ and K-Trap on the track ‘MAYFAIR’. The final track on the deluxe edition of the mixtape is ‘GET MONEY’, which sees Nemzzz rope in regular collaborator Zel on a hustle anthem.
The ‘DO NOT DISTURB’ mixtape follows Nemzzz’ debut EP, ‘NEMZZZ TYPE BEAT‘, released last year, and sees the Mancunian emcee level up lyrically and sonically. The mixtape captures snapshots of his tough upbringing in Gorton, and the redemptive power of music as a cathartic outlet, affording him the means to navigate “heartbreak, fake friends, financial literacy, mental health and social media addiction”.
Nemzzz will headline his second nationwide tour this Spring with dates across the UK and Ireland. The tour will commence in Dublin on April 20th, culminating with a homecoming show on May 7th in Manchester. For ticket info, click here.
