Nell Mescal has shared new single ‘Teeth’.
The Irish artist is enjoying a stellar year, with a run of golden singles. ‘Teeth’ is her fourth release in 2023, and it’s a dynamic return, blending indie tropes with a clear fondness for pop melodies.
Direct, potent, and illuminating, ‘Teeth’ is the sound of Nell Mescal learning to bite back. Re-asserting her worth and laying down boundaries, the song snaps with real energy – the 20 year old talent is moving with real alacrity.
“’TEETH’ is a song about when you leave the ending of a friendship/relationship too late and there’s no more trust left,” says Nell. “It’s about the moment where you decide enough is enough”.
Out now on LAB Records, the single is followed by a full UK tour in October, before Nell Mescal opens a short Irish run in December.
