Neil Young Streams New Album

Listen to it now!

Legendary songwriter Neil Young has surprised fans by streaming his new album ‘Fork In The Road’ online a week before its official release.

Neil Young has been busy of late, with the new album following on the heels of the release of a rare 1968 solo show last year. Titled ‘Sugar Mountain’ it is the first sign that the songwriter is keen to plough through the vaults, with his long awaited ‘Archives’ box set due for release later this year.

Bringing together many songs thought lost, ‘Archives’ is set to be a treasure trove for fans featuring a host of unreleased material and alternate versions. Much delayed, it was first rumoured over a decade ago.

‘Fork In The Road’ is an ambitious new concept album based on electric cars. The record was preceded by a free download which Young matched with a bizarre new video in which he stared at the screen while wearing headphones connected to an apple.

Everyone needs a hobby we suppose, and Neil Young will have plenty to distract himself with over the summer. The singer has confirmed appearances at Glastonbury and Hard Rock Calling, while he will also venture out onto the road for a handful of dates across the UK.

The new album is a blues based affair, that sees Neil Young very much in electric mode. Recalling his work with Crazy Horse, the album has already received positive reviews from fans and critics.

Neil Young is set to release his new album ‘Fork In The Road’ on April 7th. To listen to the album now just click HERE!
