'Crazy' - no, really...
Neil Young

Neil Young and Jack White are – in their own special ways – obsessive audiophiles.

Neil Young, for example, recently launched Pono – his attempted to up the audio standards on digital technology. Jack White, meanwhile, tends to reach backwards, obsessing over ways in which the physical artefact can be improved.

The pair united on Neil Young’s new album ‘A Letter Home’, which was recorded in Jack White’s Third Man studio. Last night (May 12th) the pair appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and recorded a song straight to vinyl.

Utilising Jack White’s 1947 Voice-o-Graph vinyl recording booth, the pair breezed through Willie Nelson’s country staple ‘Crazy’. Recorded and pressed during the show, it was distributed as the credits rolled.
