Neil Young has announced a series of UK tour dates for 2008, his first in three years. The legendary figure will, as is now Young tradition, play two sets: the first acoustic, the second electric. Joining Neil Young on the tour will be Crazy Horse drummer Ralph Mollina, and his wife Pegi – who will actually be playing support on all dates.
Since his last UK dates in 2003 Young has enjoyed a burst of creativity releasing “Prairie Wind” and “Chrome Dreams II” as well as two different versions of his “Living With War” set.
Young’s recent American tour was highly acclaimed, and featured a mixture of tracks from across his career. The UK dates run as follows:
March 3rd – Edinburgh, Playhouse
March 5th – London, Hammersmith Apollo
March 6th – London, Hammersmith Apollo
March 8th – London, Hammersmith Apollo
March 9th – London, Hammersmith Apollo
