Nedry are set to release their new album ‘In A Dim Light’ through Monotreme on March 12th.
Fusing bass textures with twilight songwriting, Nedry have quietly gone about making some genuinely groundbreaking music. Partly inspired by post-dubstep acts such as Mount Kimbie and Floating Points, the trio match a love of electronics with a need to contain their thoughts within fully formed songs.
Releasing material on a string of different labels, ClashMusic recently flew the band out to Reykjavik for a one off show. Nedry performed at our Iceland Airwaves party, becoming one of the weekend’s real stand outs.
Continually working on new material, the band’s set contained plenty of music the team had never heard before. Apparently forming the spine of their new album, Nedry have now confirmed plans for a release.
‘In A Dim Light’ is set to come out on Monotreme, with the album dropping on March 12th. Rhythmically complex, Nedry sit somewhere between indie and electronics, the club and the bedroom.
The band have confirmed full details of the tracklisting, with Nedry streaming the following player on their official website:
