Nectar Woode has shared new single ‘Good Vibrations’.
The London based songwriter is blossoming, merging her deep passion for jazz improvisation with key influences such as Lauryn Hill or even contemporaries such as Cleo Sol.
Out now, ‘Good Vibrations’ finds Nectar Woode fully finessing her sound, sharpening her focus in the process. Crafted alongside Oxfordshire duo Bad Sounds, the pop aspects of her work are imbued with a deep sense of feeling.
Exploratory in a very fun sense, ‘Good Vibrations’ taps into a lingering sense of childhood innocence. She comments…
“This song transports me to childhood moments with my close friends. That innocent feeling of being surrounded by your favourite people and in that time you’re laughing, dancing, messing around, spreading love and immaculate vibes with one another. I went into the session with Bad Sounds with this in mind and after playing around with chords on the piano and guitar ‘Good Vibrations’ was the result.”
Catch Nectar Goode at London’s Lexington on October 9th.
Tune in now.
