Nature TV have shared their refreshing new single ‘Illusions’.
The band have signed to independent label Heist Or Hit, and go on tour with Chappaqua Wrestling this month. The dates wrap up at London’s Oslo venue on May 26th, with Nature TV set to host their own headline run this winter.
A full EP lands after summer draws to a close, with Nature TV illuminating their talents with a deft new release. ‘Illusions’ is out now, self-dubbed as ‘sadboi yacht rock’ and it’s a breezy guitar jammer with a slight 80s feel.
There’s certainly a dose of bleached out yacht rock in there, but Nature TV also throw in cinematic echoes of The Blue Nile.
Frontman Guy Bangham’s sonorous voice ripples on top of the woozy arrangement, and he says of the song…
“‘Illusions’ is about how sometimes nothing is as it seems and there can be a facade over everything. Sometimes it can feel impossible to focus on one thing with so many distractions and illusions that send you off down the rabbit hole. It’s crazy out there and it’s only getting weirder, so remember to work on things you can actually work on and not to worry about all the mad stuff.”
Tune in now.
