Rising star Natty could be set for an assault on the mainstream when his debut album “Man Like I” is released on August 4th.
Hailing from North London, Natty’s first involvement with the music scene was as a soundman at indie gigs. Figuring he could do it a hell of a lot better, he began writing songs on a damaged acoustic – some of which appear on his debut album.
The collection of songs draw on a wide variety of influences, including Jamaican music, African rhythms, indie and a raw club groove. With a performance on “Later…” under his belt, the media storm around the singer is beginning to brew. Natty’s debut single “Cold Town” was widely acclaimed, and is a taster of the sonic gems on his first album.
