Check out the animated visual...

Wandering spirit NANCY has shared new single 'Clic Clac'.

Biting indie rock with a psych edge, the songwriter's potent musicality is allied to a neat lyrical touch.

Linking with key tastemaker label B3SCI Records, new single 'Clic Clac' continues his sonic dalliances.

Out now, the caustic single is closely linked to NANCY's own life, an examination of anxiety and "how frenzied and chaotic I am..."

The video picks up on this, with its animated style managing to both reveal and confuse in equal measures.

"The self-animated video for 'Clic Clac' is a visual example of how frenzied and chaotic I am," he comments. "They are the fragments of a by-gone culture rearranged and pieced back together."

"This time I am wearing my own face as a mask. It is a prop to help me communicate. It is where my soul lives, where my thoughts are created and is the prison I will be trapped in it until I die..."

NANCY continues: "'Clic Clac' is a self portrait except, the frame has caught fire, the canvas is melting and the room is filling up with smoke... The speakers have blown, and the distortion is making everyone panic... This song is an ode to anxiety, it is much quicker and shorter than anything I've written, it's a head rush."

"The soundtrack to my 'quarter life crisis'..(Or maybe I should just call it 'life crisis' at this point)... You're going to need to strap seat belts to your ears, cos I'm about to take them for the ride of their life..."

Tune in now.
