You know that Glow in the Dark tour that flattened America earlier this year?
Yes you do. It had Kanye West, N.E.R.D. and Rhianna in some elaborate Jim Henson inspired stage show! Yes that one.
Well just as you were presuming it was a concert that would only ever be touched via Youtube, Pharrell Williams of N.E.R.D. has revealed it will be making its merry way to the UK sometime soon. Speaking exclusively to Clash in the wake of their co-headlining slot at Milton Keynes (alongside Jay-Z and Linkin Park), Williams hinted that UK fans could expect to see the Glow In The Dark shows in the near future – presumably allowing Noel Gallagher the opportunity to bemoan the combination of hip-hop and felt Muppets on a single stage.
He ain’t fucking having it!
In the meantime, N.E.R.D’s third studio album ‘Seeing Sounds’ is out now on Polydor and the band play V Festival 2008 in August.
