Mystery Jets Help Launch Live UnLtd

New initiative aimed at young people

Eel Pie Island group Mystery Jets are set to help launch the new initiative Live UnLtd.

Ever had a great idea? ClashMusic gets them the whole time. It’s just we’re too damn busy with the site to get them off the ground.

However if you’re in that position, Live UnLtd could help. A new lottery funded initiative, it is aimed at helping young people turn their business ideas into reality. The group aim to help anyone working in music, sport, arts or traditional business to change the world around them for the better.

Open to anyone between the age of 11 to 25, Live UnLtd is a ‘Dragon’s Den’ style project which will see you pitch your ideas to industry professionals.

Supported by The Big Lottery Fund, the new initiative is set to unveil its website and more details about the scheme at a show in London tonight (April 28th).

Taking place at a venue in London, the party is invite only. However those lucky enough to attend will be treated to a perform from Eel Pie Island’s finest batch of indie oddballs Mystery Jets.

Currently putting the finishing touches to their third album, Mystery Jets will mix new material with old favourites during the show. Firm supporters of Live UnLtd the band will be joined by an all star cast.

Jim Screech, The Petebox & Maverick Sabre are set to appear while BBC 1Xtra’s Twin B will DJ at the event. There’s plenty more entertainment yet to be unveiled, with some food and drink also on offer.
