Clash stage line up confirmed

Eel Pie Island indie group Mystery Jets are amongst the acts confirmed for the Clash stage at The Big Chill.

Held in the Herefordshire countryside, The Big Chill is a different breed of festival. The organisers seem to care for your ears, with a laid back audience able to take in performances from some big names acts.

This year headliners include Massive Attack, M.I.A. and Radiohead singer Thom Yorke. Making a very rare solo appearance, Yorke will bring his Atoms For Peace collective to British shores for the very first time.

In a joint announcement the organisers of The Big Chill and Clash Magazine can confirm the bill for the Clash Stage.

For the first time Clash Magazine have teamed up with The Big Chill, grabbing some fantastic acts. Eel Pie Island's finest indie popsters Mystery Jets are set to drop by, previewing material from their third album.

Now signed to Rough Trade, Mystery Jets' new album has already been tipped as one of 2010's most surprising comebacks. Joining the indie popsters on the Clash Stage are American group Liars.

Consistently challenging, Liars' new album 'Sisterworld' was released to widespread acclaim earlier this year. Due to perform at The Big Chill, the varied line up on the Clash Stage also includes Bonobo.

The trip hop collective will storm The Clash Stage, with their new album winning plaudits. Due to take part in the Ninja Tune anniversary celebrations later this year, the chilled out group will bring some good vibes to The Big Chill.

The line up is completed by exiled Canadian producer Caribou, with our very own Clash DJs set to bring the noise.

The Big Chill takes place between August 5th - 8th.
