Mychelle Shares New Acoustic EP ‘Me & Gaz’

Just one voice and one guitar...

Mychelle has shared new acoustic EP ‘Me & Gaz’.

The EP returns the Hackney songwriter to her roots – the title is a reference to her acoustic guitar. Learning her trade by busking on East London streets, Mychelle picked up tips on how to connect with audiences, and how to use her voice.

Stripped back and raw, ‘Me & Gaz’ shows Mychelle in her natural element. Four tracks of beautiful songwriting, she’s eager to showcase the bare bones of her work, allowing fans to see the sketches underneath the final painting.

Mychelle comments…

“Putting out an acoustic project is really special to me because I feel like its essence and foundation of who I am as an artist. On all three of my previous EP’s I’ve added an acoustic song at the end to share that side of me, so I’m happy to put out a project completely dedicated to that”.

Taken the EP, focus track ‘Deep’ is online now. Discussing the song, Mychelle comments:

“The song is about accepting that a relationship you were in wasn’t right for you and although it’s hard to accept sometimes, it’s best that its now over. It’s a situation that I have been through many times myself…”

Tune in now.
