My Sad Captains are gearing up to release their new single ‘Little Joanne’ on Monday (October 31st).
My Sad Captains could well have been on your radar for some time. The London based group became the toast of the indie pop scene with their debut album, even releasing a one off single on Fortuna POP.
However experience seems to have pushed the band into different territories. My Sad Captains have developed an acute lyrical sense, one that seems to hint at very personal issues in a deft, poetic way.
Touring far and wide has left its mark on the band, with My Sad Captains confident enough to introduce elements of shoegaze, Krautrock and more.
Stolen Recordings are set to handle the release of second album ‘Fight Less, Win More’ which will hit record shops on November 7th. As a teaser, My Sad Captains are set to release new single ‘Little Joanne’ on Monday (October 31st).
