Footage has emerge from My Morning Jacket’s appearance on ‘The Vampire Diaries’.
My Morning Jacket are a pretty special live act. Led by Jim James, the American band now boast an impressive back catalogue which they seem capable of bringing to life night after sparkling night.
Recently completing a British tour, the band decided to do something fun. Flying out to the Unite States, My Morning Jacket filmed a guest appearance on the hit American television show ‘The Vampire Diaries’. (via Rolling Stone)
The band are shown performing live at what is presumed to be a glitzy house party. In a dark twist, though, My Morning Jacket are revealed to be the special guests at a wake.
Performing recent album highlight ‘You Wanna Freak Out’ the episode also features snippets of ‘Holdin’ On To Black Metal’ and ‘First Light’.
“All of the vampires and werewolves we met on the set of The Vampire Diaries were nice regular folks just like most of us – good upstanding citizens, but forced to live with this secret tragic double-life dilemma” explained Jim James.
“They treated us most fairly and with dignity and respect as they sucked our bodily fluids dry and smothered us in sexy kisses. God bless them. God bless them all.”
