My Bloody Valentine are set to re-issue their seminal albums ‘Isn’t Anything’ and ‘Loveless’.
Initially a shambling, vaguely Gothic outfit, My Bloody Valentine’s transformation into a ferocious bundle of noise and melody left its mark on a generation. A seminal shoegaze outfit, the band’s back catalogue is often difficult to piece together.
After years of rumour and speculation, My Bloody Valentine have confirmed extensive re-issues of both ‘Isn’t Anything’ and ‘Loveless’.
Re-mastered and packaged with rarities, ‘Loveless’ will be expanded into a 2-disc set while the ‘Feed Me With Your Kiss’, ‘You Made Me Realise’, ‘Glider’ and ‘Tremolo’ EPs will be compiled into one album.
Effectively covering their output between 1988 – 1991, the original mastertapes were honed back to perfection by Kevin Shields.
‘Isn’t Anything’ and ‘Loveless’ will be released on May 7th. With further ado, here are the tracklistings:
