Murcof Tour Dates

With BCN216 and Flicker

Mexican electronica Señor Murcof has announced a UK tour in November performing a brand new work entitled ‘Océano’.

‘Océano’ is a collaboration between Murcof, the Spanish classical ensemble BCN 21 and visual artist Flicker and is a new suite of music utilising Murcof‘s full palette of sounds from electronic to classical strings.

Murcof also has a new album released on the Leaf Label, ‘The Versailles Sessions’, a double cd of work he created for a site specific installation at the Les Grandes Eaux Nocturnes, an annual festival of sound, light and water at Château de Versailles in France. His audio accompanied the grand evening fountain display in the Jardin du Roi and saw Murcof composing entirely using 17th Century Baroque instruments.
